Fleisch herausnehmen. Der Braten soll zu ¾ bedeckt sein, evtl. noch Wasser dazu geben. Das Fleisch bei 150 Grad im vorgeheizten Backofen zugedeckt garen. Im letzten Drittel der Garzeit die Lorbeerblätter dazu geben. </span><div class="wprm-spacer"></div><span style="display: block;">Gesamtgarzeit ca. 4-4,5 Stunden. Den Braten alle halbe Stunde wenden, ab und zu etwas Wasser nachgießen, zum Schluss sollte der Braten halb bedeckt sein. Dieser ist fertig, wenn man leicht mit der Fleischgabel einstechen kann.
